The first time I read 圓舞, I was deeply struck by the first quote. Ah, I thought to myself. Is THAT why?
The second time I read 圓舞, I was deeply struck by the second quote. Ah, I thought to myself. That is what I’ve lacked all these years … choices. Good choices.
And so I begin to learn how to give myself choices. They may not be the best choices right now, but having choices means that I don’t have to settle for the first job offered to me. Having choices means that I don’t necessarily have to take shit from other people. Having choices mean that, I will always be able to put myself before everything and everyone else.
