Listen, I'm stuck at school right now -- they really messed up on my paper work.  Do you think you can find a ride to work -- or you can wait for me and we'll just go in late together.

Still in line -- been in line for the past three hours.  Apparently they messed up everyone else's paperwork too.

Why not?

I drove my mom's car today, even tho I wasnt supposed to.

And why is that?

Because it has insurance issues.  But my dad wasnt home at the time and I didnt want to wait until he comes back.

Why didnt you just call and tell 'em that you cant find a ride for work?

Um, because my dad doesnt have a cellphone.

No I mean, call work.  You know the cops can just scan your licence plate (like they did me) the other day and youd get in big trouble for not having insurance on your vehicle. 

Well ... too late for that.
